It comprises 11 core areas of functionality that integrates and streamlines every core business function. SAP Business One provides you with instant visibility across your entire organisation, and with powerful reporting facilities, you will gain real insight into your core business performance and profitability.

These areas of functionality are:

Finance
Handles all your financial transactions including general ledger, account set up and maintenance, journal entries, foreign currency adjustments and budgets.

Banking
Takes care and tracks all financial processing such as cash receipts, cheque writing, deposits, advance payments, credit card payments and bank reconciliation.

Controlling
Lets you define projects, profit centers and distribution rules in order to distribute and analyze costs. In addition, you can also generate profit-and-loss reports for each project and profit centre.

Sales
Assists you in creating price quotes, entering customer orders, setting up deliveries, updating stock balances and manage all invoices and accounts receivables.

Purchasing
Manages all supplier transactions such as issuing purchase orders, updating stock, calculating the value of imported items, handling returns and credits and processing payments.

Integral Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Controls all information on customers, suppliers and prospects. Information includes profiles, contact summaries, account balances and sales pipeline analysis.

Stock Control
Handles stock levels, item management, price lists, special price arrangements, transfers between warehouses and stock transactions.

Production
Allows you to manage your production process by controlling the issue of components to, and booking of finished goods from the production process.
Production orders can e raised manually or automatically from MRP.

Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)
A simple yet powerful system which helps production planners or buyers schedule and manage items for production or purchasing based on a variety of pre-determined criteria. MRP can automatically raise Purchase and Production Orders.

Reporting
Creates powerful reports for every aspect of your business, including customer and supplier debt, sales, cash flow, customer contact summaries, book-keeping, warehouse stock, financial statements, pricing, customer activity and more. In addition, with the software’s ‘define it yourself’ capabilities, you can create your own unique reports and queries.

Service cycle management
Optimizes the potential of your service teams by providing support for service operations, service contract management, service planning, tracking of customer interaction activities, customer support and management of sales opportunities.

Employee profiles

Provides staff management capabilities, including employee details, contact information and absence reports.
