Our Sales Process
Naturally you might wonder what happens when you engage with Signum to evaluate SAP Business One software for your business.

Subject to individual customer preferences, a normal evaluation exercise will comprises the following steps.

Step 1 - Initial Qualification Meeting
Before embarking upon a full evaluation exercise, we will be keen to visit your offices to meet you, find out a little about your business and your requirements and of course to tell you more about ourselves and the SAP Business One system.

The objective of the meeting is to agree whether or not SAP Business One is a suitable candidate for the system selection, in terms of functional fit, technology platform and price. Assuming no show stoppers are discovered, we would normally agree a plan forward and put dates in the diary for the discovery and evaluation activities.

Step 2 - Discovery
As a “problem solving” organization, it is important for us to understand the problems before we can design a solution to solve the them. So, a key activity is for us to understand, in some detail,  the objectives of your business and the issues you are trying to address with a new system. This normally comprises a site visit with a consultant (typically half a day),  where we survey your current process & reporting requirements and discuss the improvements and changes the company is looking to realize with a new system. This will take the form of interviews with key staff and a company director.

Step 3 - Evaluation (Proof of Concept)
Once we understand your requirements we then set about configuring a demonstration system to reflect your business. A demonstration of the SAP Business One software is then provided, either at your offices or ours, so you can clearly see how it could address your particular requirements and help you achieve your particular business objectives. The process of demonstrating the software allows us, as well as you, to clearly ascertain the suitability of SAP Business One for your business.

Depending upon your preference, this might be a single demonstration covering all of the business needs, or might be a number of more focused demonstration sessions.

Step 4 – Proposal
At the completion of this stage we are then able to submit firm costs and a draft supply agreement for your consideration. We are also able to provide customer references.

Summary
You can be assured that we won't attempt to shoehorn an unsuitable system into your business. It is as important for our business as it is for yours that the SAP Business One system is implemented successfully and actually delivers the benefits that were expected.  For this reason, the people we field in the evaluation stage of the project are not sales people chasing sales targets but actual implementation consultants who then follow through to work with you on your implementation. This ensures continuity of knowledge and understanding from the pre-contract stage to implementation stage and prevent over-selling.

We do not charge for any pre-contract activities.
