System Implementation

A structured approach to implementation is a key element of any successful IT project. At Signum we specialize solely in SAP Business One software, therefore our service portfolio and approach to system implementation have been designed specifically around SAP Business One.

Implementation services such as Project Management and Training are carefully tailored to suit your staff and the need of your business, and are provided either on-site or at our offices, causing the minimum disruption to your day-to-day business operation.

Project Management
Most of the companies we deal with tend not to have infinite time and resources to spend on a new system implementation. Therefore we always aim to provide a rapid implementation, so the benefits can be quickly achieved at minimal cost.  

We are not wrapped up with costly “big company” project management models and methodologies, but we do understand that the success of a project depends upon realistic and accurate planning, clearly defined roles and responsibilities and an effective progress monitoring procedure. Our implementation methodology is based upon a accelerated implementation approach designed specifically for the smaller business environment.

Each project we undertake is assigned a managing consultant, a senior member of staff who is responsible for your system implementation. Working from an agreed project plan, the consultant will be instrumental in delivering the working solution and will partner you through every stage of your SAP Business One implementation project, from initial requirement scoping and project planning, on into system configuration, scenario testing, data upload and user training then through to final go live support. 

Training 
We offer customized one-to-one and classroom training tailored to the needs of the individual implementation. Training plans and materials are developed according to the overall implementation plan, and to ensure users are fully equipped to do their job(s) on the new system, our training is structured around individual job roles and is based upon the specific configuration of your particular implementation.

We can either adopt a “train the trainer” approach where we train your in-house trainer, or a “direct” approach where we provide training to individual or small groups of users directly.

To compliment the face to face training given by the consultant, we also offer web based tutorials which walk the user through each part of the SAP Business One system. These are not essential but can be very  useful for pre-implementation preparation or post implementation top-up training.
Classroom training is also provided for standard module training and to educate system administrators about functionality provided in new releases.

Ad Hoc Consultancy
Post implementation, ad-hoc consultancy and training is available on demand.
This can be provided either on site, or where practical, remotely via the web.
